It's a fantastic place TT as you can walk around inside all the ruins - there are loads of them. I've taken so many photos - when do I stop posting them ???? !!!

I have somewhere TT - I'm still ploughing my way through all my photos - I hope I don't bore everyone if I send too many.

By the way, he's the chap who built Hadrians' Wall in the North of England ....

What a very busy Hadrian he was...
I wonder if he also planted all those trimmed hedges. Lol.
... no not bored at all by the photos... :o)

More photos on their way later.

It was a joy walking around as everywhere was so lovingly cared for - you'd expect the emperor popping out any minute with his shears at hand !!!

Those ancient Romans were very advanced for their time...
... Hadrian would have used electric shears :o)

And with all that land, one of those sit-down motored lawn mowers too !!!

I was going to ask if this was the same Hadrian who built the wall. Pity he didn't build something more interesting over here, I suppose the weather wasn't good enough :)

I suppose by the time he'd finished that long wall Gee, he'd run out of bricks and steam... and you have a serious point re the weather !!!!
