I never realised you could grow Hemerocallis from seed - would be interested to know how they perform! I have H. 'Sammy Russel in my garden, but I can't recall it ever having produced seed. In case you've never grown this variety, it is quite a small H. and the flws have quite narrow petals. It is quite a dainty thing, But very nice. Mine has proved itself a tough cookie and competes happily in my well-stocked border with its neighbours. Good luck!
