Building the raised beds
These are the beds - 6 x 3 foot (my boys made them!) covered to stop the cats using them as a litter tray!. The mix is lots of compost and vermiculite (to keep the compost open and free draining)

A good idea, I battle with our cats too.
It has been so wet, my raised beds have saved things from getting waterlogged.
