because this garden was only planted - more or less from scratch last year, this time of year has very little going on as all of the fast growing annuals and perennials that give plenty of interest are now all underground or completely gone, the spring bulbs are starting to come up, but not much to look at just yet, and all of my evergreen shrubs are still very small. so mainly my beds are just bare soil - boring! but this little delight has not let me down this winter, planted right at the back of the garden under the big Acer tree - it was hardly noticed through the summer months amounst all of the colourful summer bulbs and perenials. but now it catches my eye even from the house and draws it right down to the end of the garden where it shines in the sunlight that beautiful bright bronze - a defo success!
