Lots of berries this year for our blackie!

Yes that is a good sight to see. Our blackbirds seem to have deserted us at the moment and I hope they will come back.

The Berries are so prolific this year, aren't they ,Rose? That's lovely.. The Blackbirds are having a field day on our Pyracantha's now, especially the red berried ones.. The Yellow berried ones, seem to be less of a favourite, but when there is nothing else, they will eat them.:o)

Thanks Sandra and Chris!
Unfortunately and even though the blackie always lives in our garden and brought his babies up here too, there is only ever him the rest of the year.

Looks good, beginning to feel a bit 'Christmassy'.
We've had a few Blackies, they really are enjoying the abundance of berries this autumn aren't they!

same here blackies happy on the cottoneaster, pyracantha and Rowan.

They are having to compete with a rook on the Rowan. Rarely gets much as a consequence.
