Flowering acer

I’ve had my Japanese acer for about 7 years and this year it seems to be flowing, is this normal?

Hi Haziedawn, my acer is similar and it’s flowering too. It seems normal, mine has done it every year. I’m sure the more experienced gardeners will have more info for you.
