Yes,its one of 4 small gardens around my property. The Homes and shade make for different microclimates. This is one of the hotter exposures..the shade garden is mostly ferns and such.
A 5th small "garden" is the potted plants in the driveway/side of the house.

Its funny on a sunny day Penny that you could feel cool on the skin in my shady back yard,cross my driveway to this yard..and feel like the UV lamp is now on.
Our California low humidity does that.
