Specie peony, up to three feet high, for sun or part shade in a rich, well-drained soil. Hardy to -25C.

It's a mulch of garden compost which I have finally been able to get on the bed after Wednesday's rain. This was an old vegetable bed, so the soil already has lots of humus in it.
