female blackbird

She kept me company for about 3 hours as I was weeding toda. As close as 2 ft away.

Its our Robin that is a companion bird here. The male Blackbirds are quite aggressively territorial to us and each other.

I normally have robins too, but they stayed in the back garden on the feeders according to my OH.

I think about 4-5 years. Homebird. There are nests in the beech hedge and in the hawthorn hedge.
