17th Century breed - a useful member of the game hunting team. Extremely good eyesight - able to detect movement further away than the others. Stops and "freezes" with nose, eyes and tail pointing in direction of movement.
Very loyal ad gentle companion- good with children - loves a warm comfy home after an essential daily "workout". Unruly and hard to train for the first couple of years but a lovely dog.
