Thank you. These were put in the pot about 3 years ago, every year a beautiful display is given. I also have a yellow one and an orange one. Thye don't seem to need anything special, just water and sunshine. Easy plants for a beginner I'd say. Just shelter the pots over the coldest months once the greenery has died down and bring them back out in the spring. No effort for such reward!

I do like lillies, I have several large pots full, as well as individual ones as well (one type said on the packet it grows to 6ft, fingers crossed). If they look this good I will be very happy.

Unfortunately my lilies have had a major atack of the dreaded lily beetle - I've even caught them in the act! Total loss. I am devastated as my husband also bought me some for my birthday last year - these have also been well and truly attacked by these destructive creatures. I was so looking forward to another great display this year but the beetles have won the battle and made a pretty good meal of them! I won't be put off though - I'll just try again next year.
