Nerine bowdenii

Nerine bowdenii (Nerine bowdenii)

Wonderful plants for late autumn. Shocking pink long-lasting flowers on tall scapes belong to the amaryllis family (but they look more like lilies to me).

I don't think mine are going to flower this year. It has been so wet this summer in Scotland. Beautiful flowers!

Hope you will post pictures when they do Thorneyside.

Sorry you will not see them blooming in your garden this year Linda, they do like it on the drier side. Thank you for liking mine.

I agree with you ... we have beautiful sunshine today which may encourage the buds to open.

Those in theory would go great with my Aloes and Crassula's. But,gophers took out a large clump Hippeastrum/Amaryllis.
And just yesterday I saw a mound of dirt in my front yard. What he's about to set back ,I can only wonder.
