Lantern Tree

Neat. I do not know this plant but reading about it tells me that it would be a good tree to have in our conditions.
Acidic and moist? . How hardy is it Siris ?

Up to three metres when grown, hardy to -10c in Uk , exceptions, exposed north, and higher altitude. As I only paid £2.50 for it, that's not even a glass of wine in a pub! I know which I would prefer. OH might disagree.

By I intend to love it as a child!

We have a large one in the garden, it does not like the wind at all, it should be out in another week.....we also have a pink variety....

Dd, Have put it in the shady garage border. Where is yours, placed? Didn't recognise it in your garden. Already had the flowers on when bought, from the nursery you recommended. The flowers are hanging onto the soil, I expect your 'lanterns' will be better displayed. How tall is yours and how long did it take to get to that size, please?

Siris it is in the evergreen border with the Pieris and Hellebores on the right side of the garden it has just started to flower.....

With the Camellia, Splendid, I can almost picture it!
