A good crop of gooseberries this year. Picked over six pounds earlier today.

wow, not seen goose-gogs for ages. when i was little, we had a gooseberry bush in the garden, a bit overgrown - mum always knew when i'd been att he bush before the berries were properly ripe cos i'd be in to loo for ages!

Sorry Shirley - gooseberries are my favourites. Guests get given rhubarb crumble.

That is the problem HB we keep eating ours from the plant, so will now not have enough for a crumble....
