Exciting new plants and the end of the horsetail weed war

Lots of new plants amongst old ones. We have turned over the soil of 2 corners of our garden that were overridden with the imposing horsetail weed. We have decided to take a stand against them. I previously let them take over a lot of my garden. But will now dig them out every time I see them. So far so good. I won't let them destroy my new babies.
