excellent idea...considering rubber is hard to dispose off this makes a negative into something real positive...
my ex husband left me with quite a few old tyres :-( so
i greatly appreciate this idea...

Love the colour! What type of paint did you use? I have a couple of old tyres that I was thinking should go to the tip but I like this much better. I can also see it being a safe place for a nesting box.

Honestly, I just used this idea after seeing something similar on the net.

The paint I used is the type you buy for walls. If we use primary paint first, the better, once we won't have to paint many layers of the finishing colour. I've already bought blue and yellow paint for other used tyres and hang them on that old wall. I'm looking forward to painting the blue ones because I think this colour goes very well with diferente shades of green, especially greyish green. I also intend to add some pink succulents.
Happy that you liked it. It was worth to share.

Thanks. I'll look out for details.
I remember relatives having tractor tyres turned inside out - probably 25 years ago - painted white (they lived in Southern Europe on the Med) and always meant to do something similar but I love your hanging version.
