I've only heard about them , B'gate , never seen or heard one . Do they migrate ?

They do not Migrate. If they happen to choose your backyard as home, it's almost impossible to get rid of them and they sing gleefully at 3 and 4 in the morning. Pretty singers, but awful timing.

awesome bird...they do that synthesized sound too that crows do....i think for me if i would have to have a bird singing at night or early hours of the morning and it was a matter of choice...i would choose a robin...even tho i love the Mocking Birds song..

nice capture.

It's funny, sometimes the Mocking sounds just like a Robin, sometimes a Crow. They'll also dive-bomb you if they have a nest - and your pets. I bet "Harper Lee" had one outside her window while she was writing her novel "To Kill a Mockingbird."

Harper Lee's book is one of my favourites .
We have seagulls before it's even light in the summer , definitely NOT a favourite !
THEY have bad habits too , B'gate .

Her book is a classic and def one of my favs too. I can deal with the singing because it's really pretty and can lul you to sleep if you have insomnia. I just wish he would stop dive-bombing my cat.
