Sarracemia - 2013

Sarracemia - 2013 (Sarracemia)

These pitcher plants are tougher than they look. They are British natives, and can take temperatures down to -20C in their stride. Their natural habitat is peat bogs, so a very moist position in soil that is low in nutrients suits them perfectly

I brought my home for winter - but will take it back to the greenhouse tomorrow. Should be happier - more insects there lol.
