Awww he's sweet and looks very tame, does he talk?

Thank you Cmenome.
Yes, he talks... little bit... and knows how to whistle some songs like "gingle bells" and" happy birthday." :-)
He also knows his name...he reacts to it. We have him for 17 years. He is quite a character.

lovely pets when tame. I had one, we called him Tonto & was a political parrot. I taught him to say " I blame the system" too funny ;-)) He was a lutino cockatiel, beautiful yellow with red cheek patches.

Lovely little character. Does he get into mischief when he's let out?

Hi Lindak, he is really good. He stays around the cage ....will not fly off unless he is spooked. Although, he likes to sit on our shoulder and be carried around the house:-)

A friend of mine had a parakeet and it chewed the wooden picture frames etc.

I hope they were not too expensive, Mr Kaja likes to chew on wood as well. He is chewing on his ladders in the cage. I sometimes bring him a willow branch to chew on.
