Katrina - ribes sanguineum is a sun lover but this one prefers a woodland spot. So give it a shady corner with a dark background and the flowers show up well

You are right, Andrew. Yes, with dark background, like green fence it will be more pronounced. But still this one is very elegant.

Well, not so effective as ribes sanguineum. I was wondering how this nice, but not very energetic colour makes the bush visible...Thank you.
