Suillus luteus: The Slippery Jack

Suillus luteus: The Slippery Jack (Suillus luteus)

These mushrooms are popping everywhere. Some people do not like them because it has sort of slimy cap but it is a good eating mushroom. My mom used to dry them for soups but I do not pick them. My hubby would not eat them. But there are some mushrooms do pick.
Oh, and slugs love them.
