Hi Kathy, thank you. Yep, got the Sutherland Gold in the Autumn, yes its different to the one I sent you - this is the gold version of black lace, I'm going to get some cuttings going - you're name will be on one :-)

I would recommend the gold one Paul, its a stunner, the leaves are gorgeous, then the flowers followed by red fruit, one of my favourites.

Love these plants, although they grow rapidly here, so we have to prune them very hard, so we may not get any flowers this year, which is a shame.....

I have been tempted to get this one as well..but for heaven's sake, if I get any more big shrubs I shan't be able to move in a couple of years! lol...wonderful...not as black as the other one, but still lovely!

Dawn we do it in the early spring...... hack it down to the original stump. which is about 2ft tall.....
