Hi Karen - for you it look not too bad by next week - for us - well it looks like a typical map for Late October !

8 Jun, 2012

Oh heck, Paul...
Get on to, "desiring, visualising and expecting" it to CHANGE!! For the better!!!

Thanks all!

This is one I bought earlier in the week, Alex...just catching up with the pics!

Poor little phygelius has gone into cold, damp earth...
And I'm wearing a jumper again...
And all the bracts have fallen off the bougainvillea... :(

9 Jun, 2012

Oh no....that does not sound good.

9 Jun, 2012

No, Alex...it's definitely not good...got a fire lit tonight...
Unheard of at this time of year!

I lost mine last year. I had it in a pot. I have bought another one named Candydrop Cream. The red/orange ones seem to be hardier. The flowers are like prizes for pass the parcel. Look inside to get the surprise. They are so pretty.

Yes, I think that you're right, Sg...the duskier ones seem to do best...for me, anyway...

It's a shame that you have to lie on your back in the garden and look up into them to see them in all their beauty...lol! ;)

10 Jun, 2012

The red one grows to 8' so you can see inside the flowers easily.

10 Jun, 2012

I've got one which is about 2', but this one is only about 8''...so, I've got a wee while to wait...

But, I will look out for a red one, now, Sg...
Beats lying in that damp grass... :))

10 Jun, 2012
