I wonder if some kind person could name this for me please?
I have it popping up all over the place, I like the flower but the foliages is a bit 'grass' like and looks very untidy!

I think it is a white Brodiaea - Triteleia hyacinthea.

Do you think it could be from the allium family, from your description, but wild garlic has a different leaf, I think.
