A shady corner

A shady corner

This was a problem area in my garden.
The shady area in the foreground is completely riddled with tree roots and is extremely dry. Cyclamen, aquilegias, Welsh poppies, helleborus foetidus and stipa tenuissima have all self sown; I've also managed to establish some oriental poppies on the sunny side

Lovely area, is that a pseudopanax ferox in the distance?

PH - yes it is (four years old). Not an easy plant to include with mixed planting is it?
