This is last Saturday - water had gone down considerably when I took this picture

It was about 3 inches deep all the way to bbq so could not get on the grass to take pictures earlier.

Love this shot. Like that here too! And big puddles in the woods and fields!

Stood in the fields like huge lakes. You had a better day today Karen? Hopefully you got some sunshine.

Er, yes I think there was some sun at some point.

Remember it then because it is going to get back to rain shortly.

So much for the hose pipe bans! Lets hope May is better.

Who needs a hosepipe anyway lol :o) my garden is so wet I do not think if the sun shone from now until Christmas I would need to water. lol. Have seen the forecast and May is not going to be much better eh ho as long as we get some sunshine I can cope. Yesterday was nice here, sunny at times and when it came out it was lovely. I even managed to get to sit with a cuppa after cutting the grass.

Its the same here Barbara and because I'm trying to get that allotment sorted and landscaped, the other morning the sun was shining at 5'30am , so got up without waking hubby and apart from eating , stayed on there till 5pm. Good job really as it rained again for the next few days.

Doing too much when the sun shines, that is a huge problem at the minute isn't. Yesterday was quite a dull day but fine and I spent the whole of the morning trimming the grass borders and clearing it all up and weeding as I went along. My back my legs and arms are hurting and paying me back for doing too much in one go. lol. Hope we get some better weather soon so we can do a little bit at a time. But not holding my breath Rose. Are the seeds coming up in the wildflower border yet? Bet not though because it is so cold and the weather needs to heat up for them to germinate. I was saying to my O H the other day I have some seeds that never germinated two years ago but this year they have. What was that all about I can only presume it was lack of water then and now it has rained they have decided to germinate. lol.
