Nepeta

Pretty little thing.
I bought one the other day, no flowers yet though.

It's a modest plant, but it is actually very useful in the garden. A great 'filler'.

Not this one Sticki..The one the cats like is Nepeta Cataria...My old cat Molly used to get high on the stuff all summer long.

If it's Nepeta 'six hills giant' it's one of Tom Stuart-Smith's favourites, and Bob Brown gives it 8 out of 10 . . you have good taste, Pimm's!

Very pretty

"Six hills giant" is a fantastic plant that can hold its own against any competition in the bed. I can't remember the name of this one..I have the label somewhere. It creates a really nice blanket, that does not smother the other plants. Also good in a hanging basket.

That's lovely P...I have the Six Hills Giant - the cats, mine and neighbours cats sit and get 'high' all day!!
Sticki - a wee tip - buy one of those cheap wire hanging baskets to let it climb up through - it stops the cats destroying it near the base. If you look at my picture of Red Riding Hood tulips you can just see the nepeta starting to come through.
