There were lots of Ladybirds in the garden last year, nice to see they have made themselves comfy for the winter

Lovely photo. A ladybird is a rare event in my garden, although there were a few two years ago and I began to hope I would have more, but we all know what happened last winter!

Dont they get in the best places! They'll think it's sunny when it isn't!

one can buy ladybird eggs, but the site I found this on said not to get any until there's food for them - ie lots of aphids! read elsehwere that if you get ladybirds, you should release them at night, otherwise they just fly away; at night, they'll at least stay th enight!

and one can also buy ladybird houses to help them survive the winter.

Are you charging Annella? I was cutting down a rampant tangutica the other day and a couple of ladybirds fell to the floor, well one in the bird bath which I had to fish out. Felt very guilty and had to stop work:-)
