Hedgerow

Really pretty..love wild flowers..all the motorways should be strewn with them..would make a much more pleasant drive eh? :)

I saw 3 hollyhocks in the central grassy bit on the motorway yesterday! The hedges are full of these flowers at the mo. Have you got your torch yet...lookin' forward to nightpondpics!

lol not yet! Will be up at Dads on Sat will have to remember to borrow it!

Love the photo Lulu...I do see quite a lot of Wild Flowers, when I'm out on my Bike...and here they tend to leave part of the verges to grow naturally which is nice....

lovely, we saw lots as well as corn poppies and other wild flowers when on the east coast and yorkshire other week, look so pretty at the road sides, i think we should all sprinkle a packet of seed when out and about in spring then all our roadsides will look pretty :o)

Well if they are anything like the ones I bought ..only weeds will grow..i planted hundreds of them and got nothing! Grrr

thats sad pixi, you will have to collect your own seeds if you see any wild flowers you like, i have corn poppies growing this year and didnt plant them, must have been the birds.

Ah yes ..need to have a word with them then! lol

collected wild seed of this three years ago and a couple are flowering in a wild area of the garden

Will have to go collect the seeds, they do look so pretty. There is a wild, long grassy place just for them here!
