A lower growing non-clinging clematis with lovely big twisted sepals. This one is extremely reliable, beautiful and one of my favourites! Goes on for a long long time!

No Annie, not this one, you are thinking of Harlow Carr I think. Thanks DD and Lulu, it is a cracker. Annie, this one has bigger flowers than HC and not as dark in colour.
