Hi thankyou all for your comments sorry its took some time to answer.I have now placed it outside and the bird refuse to entertain it so i think the cat is doing its job lol.:))))

eHow do a piece on "keeping birds out of the garden", and they recommend a toy snake - but they say you have to move it a bit every couple of days to make it look alive. That implies that the birds will suss out any that doesn't move as not beaing real.

could it be remvoed, or covered? or maybe"paved over" to make an upstairs balcony or landing pad?
