Spotted this rare visitor to our garden this morning. There was a pair of them, the other one was on my veggie patch!!

So pretty! This is something else I saw for the first time yesterday.....two partridges running over the road. The other thing was a woodland full of anemone nemerosa. This was on a short day-out to Fettercairn, just at the foot of the Angus Glens.

We had one of these on our garden wall about 2 years ago TOG, but havent seen it since. And we are only 2 miles from the centre of the city!
Didnt know anemone nemerosa grew wild in such quantities Karen..how lovely.
