An interesting design presume you used a mould to create the shape ,did you use a creased polythene bag inside the mould to produce the angular roughness.have seen this done to produce a weathered paving slab but never to this extreme.I think it will look good when it has weathered.
Just right for Alpines

yes I used polythene bag, its perfect to develope rougheness. A bronze brush also gives rougheness, just before it gets dry.

I do like the look of it!

how big is it, Bik? it looks very big, but there's nothing I can see to give it scale. it can't be very big, if "a" plastic bag was used to give all the creases.

TT, I couldn't see a "hypertufa" section under "H" - any chance that we could have one, please?

what u mean you cannot see hypertufa section?

oh, that's rather small - well, not really small, but a lot of hypertufa pots seem to be nearly a metre if not bigger.

there isn's a section for Hypertufa in Goypedia, at least I didn't see one under H at the bottom of the page - they are links to groups of photos of plants - tulips, daffodil, heather, and so on, and groups for iems - fences, ornaments, arches and so on.

I thought it would be interesting to have a section for Hypertufa, so that people could look through lots of pictures of different Hypertufa projects, all in the same place.

nods, and designs and decorations. And that's just pots! there are ornaments and plaques and all sorts of decorative items.

I want my first tries to be simple, but it would be good to look at what others had done and think, I could try something like that
