My first Daffodil opened on 6th March it was just a few days late for St. David's Day

The Uk is more than ten thousand short this spring due to the cold winter. We celebrate Mothers Day this Sunday and there is a shortage for sale. I had this in my tiny front forecourt just a step from the pavement so I've put it out the back this weekend. I had a pot stolen for Mothers Day before.

A nice picture of a Daffodil - something not common here - known mainly as the subject of Wordsworth's poem. Now I have to try and picture ten thousand of these... fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
