outside pictures

i have just made what i think is new consept made with a few old ideas put together.i call them outside pictures.they could be of pottery with cement frames or glass paint thank to amy as she put me onto this glass painting.thanx again.i t could even be a picture you like sandwiched between 2 pieces of glass and jioned all the way round to stop water with fish tank glue and finished of again with a concrete frame.my first atempt is of a sunny seen in glass paint surounded bye a red concrete frame.the red comes from some stone work round a water feacture ive just finished.the cherry leaves came to hand from a tree in my garden.i need to put it in the elements to see if it will stand our weather.you could even press flowers between glass and do the same.i used some old gravel from my fish tank between the leaves for contrast.

i think my next one will be perhaps a lovley close up of a rose from above then a cement frame with rose leaf impressions in it.after that perhaps something like a pattern of colours that carries on as a shape sculpted into the frame then who knows.i cant see why you cant just wipe the glass down just like an inside picture leaving the green on the frame.time will tell.i hope you like this concept take care bye for now
