See what I mean about space and ’more populated, Hywel. lol

If you were defending the castle you’d wait for days for the marauding army to reach you! There’d be time to fill the moat with pirhanas, boil cauldrons of oil and have a jam sandwich before needing to fight! lol

I see what you mean lol
But an unpopulated place like this would not necessarilly set my agoraphobia off.
It might, but then it might not. It depends on the day.
Sometimes I get it when I'm surrounded with people.

But what a fantastic place !

Yes, it is spectacular and we had a fantastic time wandering around the castle and its grounds. What we mainly like about places like this in this country is that you're allowed to interact with them. There's no "Jobsworth" telling you "you can't touch that!" "Don't go over there!" "Leave that alone!" "Keep off the grass!" We could just wander about to our hearts' content and even played at being invading soldiers until someone else turned up and we quickly pretended we weren't doing anything! ;o)

Hi Nariz
Ive been to northern spain when on business many years ago, but only went to the cities and coastlines. Never saw sights like this, more deep valleys and mainly the Basque side. My niece has married a Spaniard and lives in Estella.
Fantastic views and vast spaces on these pics..bet the stars are beautiful at night.

Yes, the stars are amazing - especially in Winter. I never knew there were so many stars!
