The garden is growing well..

I can’t believe how well the plants are doing ,hardy fushias are well ahead as they didn’t die down during the Winter which I have never seen before. A shame that there are loads of slugs and snails doing their worst among the Hostas and they seem to be doing a lot of damage among other plants too. I’ve lost count of the amount I have found and popped into my pot of salted water . ( evil woman that I am ! )
It was a beautiful day on Sunday and not being able to sit around doing nothing, I spent the day giving my old metal wheelbarrow a make over. I used garden twine to wrap around certain parts then repainted the rest black. I finished it off by painting the planter box to match my benches. I’m very pleased with the result and hopefully it will last another 25+ yrs.. wishful thinking on my part no doubt.
I’m adding some garden pics too. Thanks for looking :-)

Before I repotted it

After, luckily growing well.

Nanjo, great restoration job on the wheel barrow. Clematis looks great, particularly like what you have done with the Hosta bed. You have a lovely garden.

Thank you for your great comments.. I'm glad you like my wheelbarrow Snoop Alan & Terra , the ladybird was reduced in Poundstretcher a while ago so it had to come home with me, I just love it. I have just re-done the Hosta bed as I had Heucheras there too and they didn't seem to like it so added some more Hostas. I'm going to get some grit to go on it to try to deter the slugs & snails. I must admit Scottish I can't resist buying bits and pieces but I'm running out of space, the same with plants I'm addicted, I don't have any spare soil left but still bought a hardy Fuchsia the other day and had to put it in a pot.
