I have just spent an hour or two in the garden clearing up I have come to the conclusion that I am a veggie person not plant and flower person, I will now go down stairs and battle with the rootrainer s( does any one know of a way to fill,em up) and plant out some sugar snap peas and some sweetpeas if youre lucky.

Hi Maisymulcher, I came to the same conclusion myself recently! I tried my hand at both this year (my first year of gardening) and find veggie growing more rewarding, although I'm not sure why. I don't have an idea of what I want the garden to look like. Maybe if I had an aesthetic goal I'd get more from the flowers and shrubs?
No idea about root trainers I'm afraid.
Peter :)
