just wanted to share where we are up to with our ‘cottage garden’’s only small as I’m a bit scared of anything too large yet as Im just a beginner in all this gardening excitment :) After lots of help from you all on GoY thought you would like to see.The pathway has now been started too :) It sure is hard work isn’t it digging clay soil in July!! lol

that is coming along nicely, hope you are having fun along with all that hard work. It will be fantastic when it is finished and you can relax, although I say finished, I am still 'finishing' mine and have been for 20 years nearly. lol.

thanks for your comments..I have sown lupins from seed delphiniums and oriental poppy's 1st time they are coming along now ..need to go in the ground so next week were on a mission to get some grit dug in well so I can plant them...yes my poor husband he's the digger lol...I think your right Oliveoil your garden is never done you can always think of something else you want to do ...these are my thoughts already and I have only been at it since march this year :) thanks again.

Looking good. Love the path through the arch. Are you planning on growing something up it?

I love the look of lupins and delphiniums, refuse to pay for a full grown plant though. Going to have a go growing them from seed next year. Let me know how you get one please :D.

Yes Sam I think I fancy an old english rose climbing up the arch..any suggestions on some nice one's anyone??...I will keep you updated on the progress :)
