Last Thursday was my birthday. I was told few days earlier I am invited to celebrate it with a kebab or chips and burger. The choice was mine, lol.
Lulu said I could come and we could have a BBQ and dance chacha – but I told her I couldn’t make it:( But then I thought ’ aha – that’s my birthday surprise’
So off we went to find a nice kebab place – we were going on motorway and then going more into the countryside… Where are we going? You missed a turn I kept saying. My ‘chauffeur’ kept going and I tried very hard to keep pretending I didn’t know what was going on.
At last we arrived at Lulu’s. And just few minutes earlier the other GoY-er Stickitoffe arrived. I have always wanted to meet them – and here I was.

Stevietheterrible brought something for Lulu – so off we went to find the new home for them…

Who are they? have a look:

Stevie was affraid his rent would go up if they would be found in his bathroom, lol.
So sorry guys – off you go to the lovely pond – and changing hands to Lulu’s.

Just checking new home – seems like they liked it there:)

Few more pictures:

Ok – let’s leave them and let them explore their new home.
Anybody hungry? let’s have something to eat.
Stevie brought some pizza bases. Oops – he’s saying they are ciabatta breads….

oh, looks like Stevie’s on fire, lol.

on, no – no worries… looks like corn is ready to eat:)

We have had lovely meal – thank you guys for making so much effort:)
Time to wash my hands. Coming back to the kitchen and here they are singing "happy birthday’ to me, oh wow!
But hey – what is it?
A birthday biscuit by Stickitoffee:

Pavlova prepared by Lulu:

And I was blowing candle, making wishes and there were sparkles as well.
After nice meal we went for a walk to burn the calories out.
Ears were flying in the air:

A Horse Whisperer, lol

Hey – what did she tell you??

Have spotted a Viburnum berries. Not sure which one this is. Looks like a Viburnum Lantana (Wayfaring Tree).

Lovely summery countryside landscape.

Back to Lulu’s – few pictures of her lovely garden.

The walk was not long enough – let’s do some more exercises… Why don’t we plant a huge bamboo for Lulu?
Who is in charge of digging?
Be careful Sticki!!!!

Finishing touches…

The day is still young – why don’t we go for another walk?

A rundown barn and Stevie practising a chacha steps.

Sun hiding behind the clouds

Lulu showing us her favourite pond

And look what she found! another newt, lol. But this one stayed there:)

Can you spot a dog?

it is getting darker – let’s go back.

It was really fantastic day – glad I could meet you all in person. Thank you and I will cherish the memories of that day:)

LOL. Brilliant blog on some wonderful people meeting. Hi Kasia! How enormously active you all were. I think I would be very soon as flat as Steve´s ciabbata, I am so tired these days :))Did you learn Stevie´s chacha? You should do it. Such lessons on latino dance are quite expensive, you could kill two birds with one stone, lol. Lulu, that Pavlov´s cake looks enormously good :)) It is very hard to keep the cake from eggs´ whites so high. What did you add to it? Will ask for Rp. sometimes. Just purely theoretically - shouldn´t it be with the cream on the top finally?
What was Sticki´s cake from?
Hope you had a nice birthday party.

Basic meringue recipe, 3 egg whites 6oz of sugar. Lots of cream in the centre when it's cool! It stuck to the paper!!

What a memorable birthday and lovely blog. It looks like a good time was had by all. That pavlova looks yummy; I see one of the dogs was eyeing it with interest too. It looks like a lovely part of the country where Lulu lives - great pictures. The mosaic at the end is great too.
