About me
About half an acre of field that I'm gradually clearing and starting to cultivate. Lots to learn!
40 sq. metre polytunnel for tomatoes and veg.
5 raised beds outside for veg.
Fruit Cage (rather collapsed this winter due to rare snow) with rasps, strawbs, blueberries & currants.
Apple trees, 2 plums, 2 cherries (for the birds)!
3 hens and 1 cock who like to scratch up everything I plant. But they do give me nice eggs and they do eat slugs and bugs.
Front garden is gravel with 3 round beds with an Arbutus, Crab Apple, Flowering Cherry. Mostly annuals (Lobelia & Busy Lizzie) in narrow border under mixed hedge. Not much time yet to consider flowers.... One day!
