our runner beans started very late last year but we had a good crop once they got going. I think it was due to the weather. Lindak.

Hi Happy
I have grown my runner, dwarf and French beans in containers for the last 3 years, two plats to each, and I have had masses. In fact, I still have a draw in my freezer, full of beans and plum tomatoes.
Most of my veg is grown in containers as I have such a rotten garden for growing anything. It will be explained on my blog when I get it going. It is in the process of being done, but these things take time.
All the best with your container growning. I love it

hello happy!!!! We grow our tomatoes in the greenhouse but last year we had masses appear in the pig pen im assuming this was due to the fact the seeds are not digestible they were doing really well til they were washed away! we usually grow beans in a barrell but last year I build wigwams in the garden and again the weather ruined them!
