Comfrey Bucket

You can visit our Symphytum page or browse the pictures using the next and previous links. If you've been inspired take a look at the Symphytum seeds in our garden centre.

Comfrey Bucket (Symphytum officinale)

Pack a tub with leaves, weigh down with a brick, let the leaves liquify for a week or two, strain off your free fertiliser. Use on potatoes, tomatoes, tomatillo's, aubergines, runner beans etc. In trials potatoes cropped better with comfrey than with conventional fertilisers or manure.
