Roscoea Red Gurka

Roscoea Red Gurka (Roscoea purpurea)

After looking up the origins of Red Gurka checked to see if mine is a red or green stemmed variety. I suppose mahogany colour counts as red!

I think you are right, it would count as red in my eyes, Sue. A very exotic looking plant.

Thanks Kate, Best its ever been, i think it likes a moister soil than where its planted, but with all the rain we've had, got enough during its growing season. A lesson to me to water it more in late spring.
