The next photo is a close up. It still isn't the clearest photo. I couldn't go too close to the plants because there's a house in the back of those plants believe or not.

Terratoonie,

It is not the clearest pic. as it was taken against the Sun. It is a pretty plant close up nice textured leaves and the long piper white flower.

Marguerite,

The long white-like strands just above the leaves are the flowers...it is typical of the piperaceae family.

And yes, it has many stalks and can be a little invasive almost like bamboo...although, not that invasive. This little old house was almost completely surrounded with these plants.

I like those leaves Delonix. What kind of flowers does this plant get? It looks like a woody species with many stalks.

The best book I have ever found on the subject is called "Putting Food By" it's probably out of date but the library might have a copy.

i am planning on doing that with cucumbers and the jalapinos in one jar, just haven't found a good recipe yet. its my first time pickling anything. I want it to be a little spicy any suggestion?
