mine is beside my pond...guess I should pot up a bit ...fishies might enjoy the roots and keep it in check that way...mine doesn't seem to mind full sun.

I've got some of that in pots in my garden, just started to do a wild pond in a stone square that was left by previus owners, its only about the size of them old pot sinks, i woundered what i could put in it,so i'll split some & put it in my pond,in pots so it does'nt spread.

Not sure if it's a relative to your GG's but I have the cream and white...planted a little four inch square plug and it became very well established last season...beginning to wonder about the sanity of that decision but I'm a practitioner of tough love...if it wants to take over...I'm the one who stages a coup!

oh no Jac, i don't think it will cause too much of a problem, bet ya it comes back - as Hel has said it is a thug. give it a few weeks see what happens- and if it does'nt come back there is plenty more where that came from anyway! and yes i do agree Hel, mine is also in a pot!

I'ave got this in our back garden but I have stuck it in the ground in a container as the others I had in our old garden has a tendency to roam around a little.Even though it's a bit of a thug I couldn't resit those lovely stripes.Hel.xxx.
