As it is not hardy in the UK I think you will have to dig it up after the leaves have died back and keep it dry and frost-free until planting time comes round again.

In Central Florida, Orlando. I just love it here, although the humidity can be a bit much sometimes. I think the only other place I would live would be Spain, where the sun shines as much as it does here.

Hi Floridagardener- I used to have one of these. I forgot how gorgeous they are. I must get another one. I bought mine at a local nursery long ago and haven't seen any lately. I'm guessing that it was worth the wait for you :)

I was born and raised in Florida. What part of the state are you in?

She just sent them through the mail service. It didn’t look like they were even inspected. Meaning they didn't have any stamps on them.

It's actually an arbor with a bougainvillea in the center and has a motif of the seaside. Best I can do since I live 50 Miles from the beach. I'll take a picture of it and post it.
It's pretty good, if I say so myself and neighborhood seems to like it . I'm not finished with it yet. The grassy part will be sand with miniature bamboo and palm trees.

That one is lovely too. You have been lucky then with those seeds from India. Did you have any problems importing them into the US?

It's fantastic! Never seen a lily like that. Fantastic photo too against the trunk backdrop. A palm, by any chance. I see you are from Florida, maybe a little South? Similar climate to us here I think.

Congratulations on your choice - these are beautiful and easy to grow. The tubers do not know which end is up - literally. Plant them horizontally - they will decide which end to sprout, and you are on your way. Good luck!
