I think you have just been really lucky with your choice of plant, position, soil etc. It still all remains a bit of a mystery to me. Dont you find sometimes a plant just doesnt want to flower, whilst another of the same variety just flowers its little socks off? Ive just had a disaster with a camellia. Bought two at same time, given both exactly the same conditions - one has died the other is thriving. How strange is that??
