The salvias are so nice arent they. Mine havent flowered yet, grew them from seed last year.

Thanks Dawn I am fond of the statue , the barrel has a pump with running water it also has a Water Lily in it it's amazing it always survives and flowers .. .....

Thanks Dd .. they are a very 'happy go anywhere' plant Skips ..I have 3 plants in this group ,they flower for ages and then when they die down if you trim the tops you get a second flush later in the season .......

Those are are lovely Amy love the colour and they have made a beautiful clump. I grew some from seed from Simbad and have just planted them into the borders, noticed this morning that the slugs have had a nibble, do you get problems with yours?

I haven't had that problem with slugs yet Carole it might be because I have them in this water feature circle made of bricks do you think ?

That could be the answer Amy, perhaphs the hard surface puts them off, maybe Im planting them out too soon and should wait until they get taller, i have put a couple of plants on one side to grow on a bit more then will have another go ;0))
