These were 15' tall and took up all the space you see, so out came the chainsaw.......they have started to sprout already!

Yes Moti they will soon grow and then kept at a more manageable height, I have planted some new shrubs
to fill the gap it looks rather drastic just now...........
as Bloomer said Chain saw massacre!!

I know what you mean Andrew it is the same with our council too! Last time these were cut at 6' they shot up to 15' from that cut, so this time they needed to be lots lower to stay at a more manageable level ! :o)
